Laxatives (purgatives) help increase bowel movement as well as loosen stool.
They
are substances that work to loosen stools and prevent constipation;
they are usually recommended for preventing/treating constipation which
is a common digestive problem for some people.

1. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera gel has powerful laxative properties which aids digestion and improves bowel movements.-Add 2 tablespoons of aloe Vera gel into a cup of water (or fruit juice) and blend together
-Drink this mix on an empty stomach every morning till you get the desired bowel movement.
2. Apples
Apples are rich in digestive fiber that helps soften stools. It's great for stimulating bowel movements.-Eat an apple or two daily to keep your digestive system in top shape.
-You can also drink fresh apple juice daily
3. Pawpaw
Pawpaw works great for the digestive system.-Eat pawpaw as much as you can or its juice daily.
4. Castor Oil
Castor
oil lubricates the bowels without absorbing any moisture from the small
intestinal walls. It should however be used with supervision/in
mderation as too much of it can damage bowel tissues and muscles.-Mix a teaspoon of castor oil (cold pressed) in a cup of orange juice.
-Take the mix on an empty stomach.
If you are menstruating, pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use Castor oil. Also consult your doctor before using Castor oil.
